OK Boomer Kennedy Special Part 1

You'll hear about The Crime of Century in the introduction!  A 500-watt radio station in the southern tip of Illinois was the first to reveal who shot president John F Kennedy.  And you'll hear a Dallas police lieutenant utter that infamous name-Lee Harvey Oswald for the first time on WRAJ radio in Anna, Il. Bob Smith talks with WRAJ owner Don Michel  on "The Off Ramp."

Then, imagine dancing at the local teen center...in the 1950s...then dancing there again today.  We'll talk with a former teen who now manages a Senior Citizens Center.

50-years ago it was getting BLOWN AWAY on weed. Now Boomers are using weed for something else.  We'll talk with a farmer who plants weed, harvests it, processes it, and sells the finished product to treat anxiety and inflammation.

 

OK Boomer is produced in a rural part of southern Illinois, but the stories can apply to any Baby Boomer in the US.  And it's all cool because it's OK Boomer.
