OK Boomer 2-3-23

WDBX.jpgRobert Rickman.  A truly OK Boomer!

Ann Stahlheber works at a local county health center and has seen plenty of drug abuse.  And she is not sure if a rise in drug abuse among seniors,  Is it because of hardship, or boredom?

Stephanie Dukat of the Southern Illinois University Crafts Shop offers a way for Boomers to fight boredom.

Then we have an interview with a former nurse in a federal agency who suspects that Covid Brain Fog is similar to her disease...Alzheimer's

How are local senior centers attracting Boomers? Patrick Laws who runs a local center started out working there in his twenties, and now he is a senior citizen too!

Also in the news, we’ll cover Covid 19 and how rural deaths per 100-thousand residents are exceeding the national average.

And we’ll look at comfort foods….which can be uncomfortably dangerous.

Plus to keep your brain active Bob and Martia Smith tease your Cerebrum with questions and answers on topics old and new on, "The Off Ramp."

And finally, finally, we will have a recording of the history-making first (and probably only) broadcast of a slide show on radio.

That's on OK Boomer, where we're keepin' is real!
